To protect your data, turn the power off before inserting or ejecting a card.
NOTE
•IfyouwanttochangetheSDcardwhilethepower
isON,followspecialprocedures(seeP101).
•WheninsertingorremovinganSDcard,always
turn the power OFF. If you do so when the power
is ON, recording data might be lost.
•Ifyoucannotinsertacardintotheslot,you
might be trying to insert it in the wrong direction
or upsidedown. Try again with the correct card
orientation. If you force the card in, you might
break it.
•IfanSDcardwas previouslyusedwitha
computer or a digital camera, you must format it
intheR24beforeusingit.
•IfnoSDcardisinserted,theRECkeywillnot
functioninRecorderMode.

the cover of the SD card slot.

Insert an SD card that is not
write-protected into the slot
completely.
To eject, push the card in first .
Remove the screw near the slot,
and screw it into the hole in the
SD card cover.

Unlock the write-protection
